04/27/15 17:19:32Detected41.1418-70.9292I think the faint downsweeps in the previous tracking periods have been SWs but they were too far off to be classified. This one has a doublet in panel 16 with a correctly classified downsweep (the other is misclassified as a HW, as well as another singlet in panel 2).

Humpback whale:

04/27/15 00:34:32Possibly detected41.1418-70.9292A few longer downsweeps that appear to be biological in panels 10 and 11, if they were shorter I'd be more skeptical but this was enough to classify as "Possibly" for HW.
04/27/15 00:49:32Detected41.1418-70.9292
04/27/15 01:19:32Possibly detected41.1418-70.9292Given the length of the two downsweeps in panel 3 and the pattern seen in the previous two tracking periods I am comfortable with classifying this as "Possibly" for HB.
04/27/15 02:49:32Detected41.1418-70.9292Shorter, fainter downsweeps but there were enough in panels 12 and 13 to say "Detected" for HB.
04/27/15 03:19:32Detected41.1418-70.9292
04/27/15 03:34:32Possibly detected41.1418-70.9292There are enough short, faint downsweeps in panels 13-15 that could be consistent with HW song seen in past tracking periods to say at least "Possibly" for HW.

04/27/15 05:34:32Possibly detected41.1418-70.9292The downsweeps in panels 10-12 have a lot of artifacts and not much pattern, but judging by past tracking periods where HW are present I categorized this as at least "Possibly".
04/27/15 05:49:32Possibly detected41.1418-70.9292Faint, shallow downsweeps in panels 14-16 are indicative of HW although they are spaced farther apart and there is less of an apparent pattern. The three PTs in panels 15 and 16 are especially "shapely" so I am classifying this as "Possibly" for HW.

04/27/15 09:34:3241.1418-70.9292Many classified FW pulses but very inconsistent IPI/amps, so there is strong evidence that a recurring 20 Hz noise is creating spurious PTs that are being classified by mistake.
04/27/15 11:34:3241.1418-70.9292FOR MARK: Possible SW here? There's a possible doublet in panel 1, and three possible singlets following it but no classified calls. Followed our latest protocol and stuck with "Not Detected" but these downsweeps are not characteristic of the random low freq noise we've been picking up so they stuck out to me.
04/27/15 14:19:3241.1418-70.9292Very short, faint downsweeps recurring in panels 1, 3, 6, and 12 but not enough evidence to suggest presence of animal.
04/27/15 16:19:3241.1418-70.9292Faint downsweeps in panel 13 but they are unclassified and one looks like it's been chopped up.
04/27/15 16:34:3241.1418-70.9292A faint but nice looking downsweep in panel 4, SW in the distance? This one is also chopped up.

04/27/15 18:19:3241.1418-70.9292FOR MARK: Two downsweeps in panel 10 that look like SW misclassified as HW. There's another nice unclassified downsweep at the beginning of panel 14 that is possible SW. There are two longer, higher amp PTs in panels 13 and 14 that are not SW-like but seem biological. Not sure what to do with this period, there's enough ambiguity that I didn't feel confident saying "Possibly" for any species.
