Study objectives
A Slocum G3 glider was deployed near the New York shipping lanes south of Massachusetts and Rhode Island to conduct surveys for tagged fish and baleen whales, including the seriously endangered North Atlantic right whale.

The Slocum glider was prepared by Ben Hodges and Mark Baumgartner (WHOI) and deployed and piloted by Mark Baumgartner.
